Sadly we are late in sending our condolences , A  lady whom we visited in Kentucky and shared our home with during her visits to Ireland. 
She was quietly proud of her family and her work  
To her family Particularly Michael Seamus we would like to express our sorrow at her sad loss.

Mrs Mary.... Wow.   First of all what a quiet, calm, and VERY patient woman. My memories of her are simple but not small.  The first time I attempted my drivers test. The first thing she said was " there's no need to be nervous, we will get through this"  and she failed me because I let someone else go when I had the right of way. Then she said " if we don't make mistakes we will never learn, I'll see you next time"  
Next time came, we did the test. And she looked at me with a huge smile and said " congratulations.... You passed" 
My next memory of her is going for my CDL.  I finished my written test, she graded it,  i failed, she then said....  " when you come back, be confident, I know you know this stuff,  so put it on paper".......    Next time came and once she graded it again.  Then she looked at me and smiled big again and said " congratulations..... You passed"       the one thing I remember about her is she spoke softly and didn't embarrass you if you failed,  but she made you feel good when you passed. I didn't know her personally, but from those few sessions I had with her........ What a lovely lady.  My heart goes to her friends and family. 

We are so very sorry and heartbroken to hear of Renee’s passing. She was a kind, smart, sweet lady with whom we’ve had the privilege of getting to know and work with over the past 15+ years.  Our prayers and support go out to her family, friends, and colleagues. Renee’s presence in our daily lives will be dearly missed. 

I knew Renee in High School and graduated with her.  Met back up with her in Oldham County.  Thought highly of her then....and...still do today! She was a lovely, caring, intelligent, soul. 

My deepest, heartfelt, sympathies to all her loved ones. 

I was so nervous taking my CDL permit test. Ms. McCoy was so pleasant and calming that it made it easier to settle down and concentrate. I can't imagine how many thousands of others she touched in the exact same way. So saddened to hear of her passing.  Condolences to her family and friends.

Renee and Mike were work associates of ours for many years at our advertising agency, but more than that...good friends. Renee oversaw the drivers testing of 3 of our children. Forever grateful for her help and friendship. Her smile will be missed in LaGrange. 

Thanks to Renee I am able to work UPS and pay for college. I failed my first drivers test and she worked me in the day before her passing when I should’ve had to wait months. I passed the second time where she gave me a high five and walked to the next car. I was shocked to hear that less than 24 hours after she left me blessed and set for my future she had died. I’m praying for the family and am extremely grateful to her. I am glad to know I have a driving angel watching me in heaven.

First to her family, I would like to offer my deepest condolences. Ms. Renee was a very special person. I met her, getting my driver's license (like everyone else).  Everyone had told me how scary and mean she was. Man did they have her pegged wrong.  It was a rainy day and I was like great. So she gets out of this car with her little clipboard and her serious face. I'm like I'm done. My husband had told me the night before to put his face on her so I wouldn't be nervous. So she gets into the car, she says parallel park. I'm dingy I say wow you're not going to ease me into it. She cracked a smile. Let's just say I talk ALOT when I'm nervous and after parallel parking I was none stop. By the time we got back. We were both laughing like 2 old friends. We got out of the car and everyone was looking at us crazy. She gave me a hug, she said she hadn't wanted to come to work that day. She said then I got in the car with you. From that day on, we became friends. I would take her lunch from time to time just because I was thinking of her. She was definitely strong but silent. That day when I got back in the car with my friend, she was in awe. She said what did you do to her. I said nothing GENUINE KNOWS GENUINE. My heart is heavy today she will be missed.
