Born on June 29, 1948, in LaGrange, Kentucky, Michael was the son of the late Joseph Milburn and Ethel Cox Eldridge. He graduated from Oldham County High School with the Class of 1966.
Michael proudly served his country in the United States Army and was a Vietnam War veteran, serving from October 1968 to October 1969. He was a hardworking man who enjoyed NASCAR, yard work, fixing things, hunting, and boating.
In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his brother, Roger Milburn Eldridge.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 57 years, Dianne Carder Eldridge; his sons, Lynn Eldridge (Tonya) and David Eldridge; brothers Dennis (Vickie) Eldridge, Kevin (Karen) Eldridge & his nephews, Joshua Eldridge and Adam Eldridge; and many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will follow at 3:00 p.m.
Michael's legacy of service, hard work, and devotion to his family will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
