Minnie L. Taylor Allen
January 9, 1929 – December 1, 2012
Minnie L. Allen 83, of LaGrange, passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2012. She was a member of Covenant United Methodist Church and retired from Central State Hospital. Survivors include her children: David, Deborah, Stanley, Donald, Rebecca, Gardenia, Vincent, and Estella Allen: sisters: Ruby Wilson, Hattie Ford, Jean Rose Allen and Betty Elzy; brother-in-law: Howard Wilson: sisters-in-law: Betty Mae Allen and Betty Jean Allen; 16 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, December 7, 2012 at Covenant United Methodist Church with burial to follow in Valley of Rest Cemetery. Visitation 6-9 on Thursday at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home. Online condolences can be made at www.heady-radcliffefuneralhome.com.

Ms. Minnie Lou opened her home to me and many others. I always thought of her home as my second home. She will be greatly missed. May God look over and bless the Allen Family during this difficult time.
