Nancy has been a part of our family for as long as I can remember. She shared with my husband that as a little girl all it took was a cardboard box to entertain me for hours. My mom had 5 children total with my sister Tommie-Anne being the 4th. Nancy at that point “adopted” Tommie-Anne as her own so to speak and always had a special place in her heart and Tommie-Anne felt the same way. How wonderful it was when Tommie-Anne’s daughter Melissa settled in Louisville and took over Tommie-Anne’s place. They became very close and Nancy loved her and Melissa’s little ones so much. She will always be a part of our
family. We loved her so much.

Miss Oglesby was my childcare provider in the early'70s. Little did she know that the little girl she took care of then would later be her nurse in the Med-Surg Unit at Baptist Northeast here in Lagrange. My daughter is Angela Roberts Smith who lives here in Lagrange. My mother was Ruth Melone Klingenfus who was a life-long friend of Nancy. She was a wonderful woman who taught "her kids" wonderful life lessons. Sarah Klingenfus Roberts.
