Paul Joseph Young

Paul was a man who loved working with his hands. He found joy in building and fixing things, hunting, hiking, and maintaining his farm. Cedarstone Farm held a special place in his heart, where he spent many happy hours. Paul especially treasured time with his grandchildren, teaching them how to drive, sharing stories, and simply being present. One of his greatest joys was sitting contentedly in his swing, soaking in the life he built and the people he loved.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Chris Young, and his beloved granddaughter, Clara Bickett.

Left to cherish his memory are his children: Leah Potts (Jeremy), Patrick Young (Brittany), and Pamela Bickett (Mike); his siblings: Margaret Young, Janet Smith (Bill), Lee Young (Michele), Tim Young (Cheryl), Allen Young (Sandy), Allison Holston (Marty), and Vincent Young (Carla); his grandchildren: Lincoln Potts, Wiley Potts, Weston Potts, Aran Bickett, Lucas Bickett, Maverick Young, and Maci Young; his former spouse, Anne Young; along with many extended family members and dear friends.

A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, February 15, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Heady–Radcliffe Funeral Home, 706 West Jefferson Street, LaGrange, Kentucky.

A Celebration gathering at Cedarstone Farm will be held tentatively Saturday, April 25, 2026.
