He was a truck driver and was a member of Pewee Valley Masonic Lodge, National DAV, and Henry County DAV.
Survivors include his son: Nathaniel Ray Simpson; granddaughter: Maddison Simpson; brothers; William H. Simpson: Michael R. Simpson: Owen Simpson Jr. and Larry Wayne Simpson; sisters: Lois Ann Glenn, Juanita Clark and Peggy Kamer.
A Graveside service will be conducted at 2 PM on Saturday, September 13, 2014. Visitation will be held at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home from 10 AM until 1 PM the day of the service.
