Robert “Tommy” Thomas Oldson, 68 passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2025. Tommy was born on April 30, 1957, to the late David and Anna Mae Oldson. He was a proud veteran of The United States Army. Most recently, he worked as a professional truck driver before retiring.
Tommy was known for his integrity, his positive outlook on life, and his passion for riding and traveling on his Harley-Davidson motorcycle. He was a devout believer who willingly shared his faith and testimony, often speaking about the transformative work of God in his life, he certainly didn’t mind telling you that God saved him. His genuine love and kindness he showed everyone, but mostly for his love of his family.
Tommy was a devoted husband, father, Papaw, Pastor, and friend. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Donna (Woosley) Oldson; his daughter Jaime Miller; his son Rusty (April) Woosley, his son Randy (Tiffany) Woosley, his daughter Amanda (Brian) Dodson; his treasured grandchildren, and his sister Teresa (Tim) Woosley. He is preceded in death by his brother, Russell “Rusty” Wayne Oldson, and his great nephew, Demontre Larod Jones Jr, who were taken from the family far too soon.
Throughout his life, Tommy devoted himself to service and ministry, often helping others. He spent the last 20 years of his life in ministry as the Biker Pastor at LaGrange Assembly of God; LaGrange, KY and as the Senior Pastor at New Beginnings; Pendleton; KY. In his ministry, he demonstrated that personal growth and change are always possible, and that flaws and failures do not define a person.
Pastor Odie was known for his kindness, encouragement, and willingness to offer support—whether through a handshake, a hug, a prayer, a listening ear, or a simple phone call to express love and appreciation, or a story (oh the stories). He was a dependable presence in the lives of many.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, October 17, 2025, at LaGrange Assembly of God, (2109 KY Hwy 146 LaGrange, KY 40031). Saturday visitation from 9:00 am-11:00 am and funeral service will be at 11:00 am at the same location, with burial to follow at Smithfield Cemetery in Smithfield, Kentucky.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Bikers Ministry at LaGrange Assembly of God (2109 KY Hwy 146, LaGrange, KY 40031), in support of the annual Blessing of the Bikes event held the last Sunday in April.
