Ruby was a creative and talented woman who enjoyed sewing, pottery, and gardening. She found great joy in her crafts. She was also a devoted fan of Star Trek, which brought her much entertainment over the years.
In addition to her parents, Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hoffmann Sr.; and her siblings, June, Larry, Owen, and Violet.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her brother, James Dexter Smith; her children, Mary Hoffmann Goff, Charles “Bill” Hoffmann Jr., and Frank Hoffmann; her nieces, Mary Taylor (Dakota) and Jamie Hixon (Randy); her nephew, Jimmy Smith Jr. (Carrie); as well as extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 1, 2026, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Immaculate Conception Church, 502 N 5th Ave, La Grange, KY 40031, with a Funeral Mass to follow beginning at 11:00 am
