She was born to the late James Franklin "Pete" and Mary Louise Streible Wright in LaGrange, Kentucky on April 7, 1960.
Teresa loved purple and butterflies! She was an avid Super Nintendo player, nobody could beat her at Mega-Man, Metroid, Donkey Kong, or Mario Brothers. Teresa enjoyed a variety of movie genres but especially enjoyed Jurassic Park, Tremors, Twister, Congo, and Star Wars. This helped her passion and interest on Big Foot. Teresa read a lot of VC Andrews books, frequented yard sales, and could be found watching the Hallmark Channel, especially Christmas movies because Christmas was her favorite holiday. Additionally, she watched the Walking Dead, Charmed, The Little House on the Prairie, Riflemen, The New Jersey Housewives, The Walton's, and her soap operas.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Glen Boren; and son, James Boren.
Left to cherish the memory of Teresa are her daughter, Susan Boren (Anthony Whittamore); grandchildren, Jacob Gettings, Levi Ellis, Levi Lefler, and Roger Lefler; sisters, Pamela Downey (Ronnie), Peggy Noe (Doug), Robbin McKinney (John); honorary son, David Airington; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; extended family, and friends.
A celebration of Teresa's life will be held on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at 3pm at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 706 W Jefferson St, LaGrange, KY 40031. A time of visitation will be from 1pm until the start of the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be directed to Heady-Radcliffe to assist with the cost of services.
