He was a member of Main Street Baptist Church and owner of Taylor Pallet Company.
Survivors include his children: Marijuana Edwards, Thomas G. Taylor III (Lori) and Rebecca Jackson; sister: Sister Doris Harris; brothers: William Barnett Taylor and Bernard Smith; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 PM on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at Covenant United Methodist Church with burial to follow in Valley of Rest Cemetery. Visitation at the church on Thursday from 11 AM until 1PM.
