He was retired maintenance worker for GE and Steel Technologies.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Harry and Mahala Jo Smith; daughter, Theresa Gail Baker; brother, Charles Joseph Kinslow.
Survivors include his sons, Anthony Smith (Martha) and Steve Smith (Theresa); siblings, Butch Smith (Mary Alice), Harry Dale Smith (Cindy), Martha Smith and Madlyn Golden; 4 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
