Angela Ruth Miller was born on March 17, 1980, and passed away in the early morning hours of January 18, 2026, after a long, courageous fight. She was taken far too soon, but she is now at peace with God.
She is survived by her husband, Brett Michael Kerr; her mother, LuAnn Knosalla Miller; her father, Gregory John Miller; and her sisters, Michelle (Dennis) Hemminger and Lisa Miller, as well as a niece and 3 nephews, all of whom she loved deeply.
Angie graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2004 with a nursing degree and devoted more than 20 years to caring for others. Nursing was not just her profession; it was who she was. She served as a frontline nurse during the COVID-19 pandemic, working in New Jersey and traveling wherever she was needed most, always stepping forward without hesitation. She worked in both the ICU and PACU, providing exceptional medical care, compassion, reassurance, and humanity during some of her patients' most difficult moments. Her patients loved her, and she loved them in return.
Angie was full of life and always ready for the next adventure. She had a contagious laugh, a huge heart, and a rare ability to make people feel safe and loved just by being near her. She was also a die-hard Kansas City Chiefs fan, which meant that Brett and Angie's house was proudly divided—but no matter the teams, they always watched the games together, side by side.
Trying to sum up Angie in a few words feels impossible. She was a loving wife, partner, and best friend. She was vibrant, selfless, adventurous, and endlessly loving. She believed in being present, being kind, and making a home wherever love existed. She filled her family and friends' lives with warmth, laughter, and meaning, and she will be missed beyond words.
