Brady McCoy was joyfully welcomed into this world on September 29th, 2022 into the loving arms of his mom and dad, Carly and Kent McCoy and into the role of little brother to his devoted big brother, Brooks McCoy. Brady was called home to his Heavenly Father on July 4th, 2026. While Brady’s time on earth was short, it was so profound and his impact was nothing short of remarkable. If you knew Brady, you loved him because his joy, his pureness and his love of life instantly drew you close to him.
Brady was full of life and lived boldly in all his adventures and relationships. His favorite things to do were take golf cart rides, orchestrate elaborate scenarios with his toys, play at parks, explore outside, dance and sing to music, worship the Lord, love on his little sister and most especially, play with his brother, Brooks. Brady forged many relationships in his short time on earth. Among other friendships he made along the way, he adored and was adored by his friends and teachers at Lakeway Church Christian Preschool. Most of all, Brady full heartedly loved his family. Brady was the glue of the family, always drawing people near and never away. Brady was loved deeply and he somehow returned the love tenfold back to all of us.
Brady is survived by his mother and father, Kent and Carly McCoy. His brother, Brooks McCoy and his sister, Brenna McCoy. By his grandparents Byron and Deah McCoy of Dallas, Wanda and Marty Garvey of Austin, and Sandy and Clark Dunklin of Allen. He is lovingly survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Brady will always be remembered for his joy, his love of life and for being a light in so many people’s world.
There will be a celebration of life for Brady McCoy on Friday, July 10th at 10 am at Lakeway Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made and will be used to shed light, spread joy and pour love into kids who may have otherwise never known the Lord or the love and joy that are possible in this world.
