Cynthia (Cindy) Joyner, a beloved wife, mother, Mimi, sister, and dedicated healthcare professional, passed away peacefully at the age of 68 on Sunday, September 3rd, 2023. She shared 46 wonderful years of marriage with her devoted husband, Robert Joyner, and their love served as a shining example of commitment and devotion.
Cindy is survived by her daughters, Lindsey Joyner (Atlanta, GA) and Jennifer Baldacchino (Austin, TX), along with her caring son-in-law, Dr. Thomas Baldacchino, and her cherished grandchildren, Hayden and Preston Baldacchino. Her family was the center of her world, and she brought boundless love and joy to their lives.
Cindy was also a beloved sister to Lesa Lewis (Blake Lewis) of Atlanta, GA; Susan Brown (Craig Brown) of Dallas, TX; and Lynn Grim (Charles Grim) of Summerville, SC. Their bond was unbreakable, and they shared many cherished memories together. She was preceded in death by her parents George (Bruce) and Marylin Davidson.
Cindy graduated from Piedmont Nursing School in Atlanta, GA in 1976. For over 25 years years, she served as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, making a profound impact on the lives of countless newborns and their families. Her dedication, expertise, and unwavering commitment were a source of comfort and hope during some of life's most challenging moments.
Cindy's memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends. Her legacy of love, kindness, and her contributions to the healthcare community will be remembered with deep gratitude and admiration.
A private service for family and friends will be held Saturday, October 21st, 2023, at Emmaus Catholic Parish in Lakeway, TX to celebrate Cindy's life.
