My condolences. I did not know her well,just met her through an online game we played together. She was a wonderful person from what I knew. She will be missed!

I just found out about Cynthia's passing.  Please accept my condolences.  I was her supervisor when she was employed with DPS in Houston.  She was one of the best employees and  person I have ever met in my entire life.  She will truly be missed.

Darin my condolences to you and your family through this difficult time. May god hold her in his arms until you both are reunited again and may he soothe the pain your family is going through and give you and your sons peace knowing she is at rest. Continued blessings over your family.

I was heartbroken to hear of Cynthia’s passing. During our time volunteering together when our boys were in the band, I came to know her as someone with such warmth, kindness, and a truly generous spirit. She had a way of making even the busiest moments more enjoyable, and her laughter was always a bright spot in the day.

Please know that my thoughts are with everyone affected by this loss during such a difficult time. I hope you find comfort in the many memories of Cynthia’s love and the positive impact she had on everyone who knew her.

I still cannot comprehend my friend is gone.  I first met Cynthia in 2021 to be her deputy for spirit wear and was totally blown away at the amount of work it took, and the literal heavy lifting of the band spirit gear to/from games and booster meetings.  She rose to each occasion and had a knack for patience and sending those emails or Facebook posts about picking up spirit wear orders from the infamous grey tub in the band hall which, from time to time, would get mysteriously moved into interesting spots! 

Healing will ultimately come from learning to carry both love and loss together.  I learned new perspectives on life from Cynthia and will cherish our happy memories forever.

I have so many fond memories with Cynthia during our time volunteering with the Vandegrift Viper Band & Vision Dance Company. She worked hard to lead the Spirit Wear committee but she also loved to volunteer at games and on competition days. She had an amazing wit and wicked sense of humor. She loved her husband and her sons. This is such a shock. She will be truly missed by those who knew and loved her.

I was deeply saddened to learn of Cynthia’s sudden passing. My thoughts are with Darin and their two sons as they face this profound loss. I hope they are able to find comfort in the cherished memories they shared with her, and strength in the care and support of those around them.

Cynthia’s memory will remain a lasting presence in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Cynthia was my wife of 23 years. We had two sons together and we built a loving family. She passed peacefully. She was loved by those that knew her. She will always be with us.

I’m grateful to have known Cynthia and feel fortunate to have called her a friend. She loved her boys fiercely and was one of the hardest-working volunteers in their booster club. We had a lot of laughs during that time together. Marple family, I’m so sorry for this tremendous loss.

Cynthia and I were coworkers and colleagues at her current employment, the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, where she was an Enforcement Prosecutor.  She will be dearly missed for her sharp wit and excellent legal skills, and her steadfast commitment to the work we do here.  Please rest in peace Cynthia, we treasured our time with you.

I’m proud to say that Cynthia and Darin met at our kung fu school. I remember the day well, when I first realized that they were dating. My husband and I were sitting in the waiting area with Cynthia, all tired from our workout, chatting together when Darin walked toward us from the hallway. He stopped in front of Cynthia, held out his hands and said, somewhat awkwardly, “You wanna go eat?”  A big smile spread over her face and she said, “Sure! Let me get my things.”  The exchange was adorable and warmed my heart that they had found each other. She will be so missed.  So glad to have known her and now to know their two boys at the school with Darin.
