

He attended schools in both California and Sundown, Texas before graduating from Levelland High School in 1954. He was a natural entrepreneur and started Anderson Grain Corp and Anderson Feed Yards in 1955. The following year, he would marry the love of his life, Sammie Ann Cox. In the late 70's, early 80's he was Director of Texas Grain and Feed as well as President of the Panhandle Grain and Feed.He sold AGC in 1986 and would later retire in 1996 to Lakeway, Texas.
Daryl was a member of Lakeway Church, he loved to fly and play golf. He took many a grandchild to The Hills of Lakeway to hit balls.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Kelton Anderson and Vera Mack; sister, Lana and son, Daryl Buck. He is survived by his wife, Sammie Ann Anderson; brother, Butch and wife Eva Mack of Alba; daughter, Reatta and husband Ronny Bell of Austin; son, Tod and wife Deonna Anderson of Lubbock; son, Tom and wife Carol Anderson of Lakeway. Grandchildren – Jon, Kayla, Brittany, Lauren, Luke, Cliff, Jared, Hunter, Lezli and Tara. One great-grandchild, Harper.
He had a life full of family and friends and will forever be missed.
