David Brian Waida Sr.

David Brian Waida Sr, age 67 of Lakeway Texas, died peacefully on March 31st, 2022 at 5:30pm. Originally from Midland Pennsylvania, David was born on February 11th, 1955. Son of Anthony Paul Waida Sr and Mary (Machupa) Waida.

Beloved brother to Mary Ann Myers (Thomas “TJ”), Anthony Waida Jr, Justine Holben (Donald “FatBoy”) and Nancy Waida. He was a proud father of David Waida Jr “Junior” (Robin “Kiddo”) and cherished grandfather to Samantha “Slammin’ Sammy”, Paige “Izzy” and Chase “Chilly”. He had a nickname for everyone in his life.

David loved the mountains and spent many years trout fishing anywhere he could find a stream. He loved golf, although golf didn’t love him often. He was the kind of guy everyone liked, as he was always happy and never wanted to darken anyone’s day, especially towards the end. He loved the Pittsburgh Steelers and rarely missed a game regardless of the ups and downs.

David attended Western Beaver High School, where he was an All-State Guard and Linebacker. He attended Kent State University and was a Veteran of the US Air Force. He will be missed by his many family members, nieces and nephews, great nephews, his E Clampus Vitus “Clamper” brothers and especially, his partner in crime, Robert “Loco” Waida.

Service being held Saturday April 23rd at 1PM at Weed Corley Fish Funeral Home, 411 Ranch Road 620 S, Lakeway, TX 78734.
