I'm saddened to hear of your passing, Dennise. We were friends in high school passing notes to each other in the hallways, hanging out together on the weekends, going to dances together, etc. I recently serendipitously found some of these hallway notes stored in my attic that I didn't know that I had and my heart smiled going down memory lane. Rest In Peace, my friend. I will forever remember your great sense of humor, your kind friendship, and your contagious, silly laugh. 💗

Dennise, the little sis that I never had, having known you since you were 12 as I was dating and later marrying your BFF and big sis Shalimar. Watching you grow up , giving you tennis lessons, worrying about you when you visited during college and out with your friends.
In a blink of an eye you're a mom and have a successful career.
You left us too soon, we know you're watching over all the people you've touched and care for.
May you forever rest in peace

Dennise was my BFF and my longest BFF. From taking piano lessons together, ballet and tap dancing all the way to moving to Texas with our parents in 1985. We shared many great times as kids playing with Barbie's for hours to her summer jobs working with me in Dallas when she was in college. Even though we lived in 2 different cities, we often visited each other and showed up wearing the same outfits- we were connected. Even our children are born in the same months! I miss you so much. I know you and mom are watching over your babies. We are too! I will see you in my dreams sis!
