Donald K. Wells, 57, of Bee Cave, Texas died Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at the home he shared with his life partner of 24 years, Jay Rimovsky and Pebbles, their Dalmatian. Born in Springfield, Ohio to Delores L. and Wilbur T. Wells, Sr, he is survived by a sister, Diana Lindsay, and two brothers, Tim and Mike. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Helen. His life is characterized by his broadcasting career and musical interests highlighted by a weekly local radio show on KAZI here in Austin. Along with his partner and family, he has many close friends from childhood that will truly miss him.
Having touched everyone he has ever met, he is survived by many nieces, nephews and related family members. A memorial service in Ohio and Celebration of his Life in Austin are being planned.
