Donna was born on May 21, 1949, to EJ Deckert and Frankie Arnold Barr in San Antonio, TX. In her 20’s she moved to Central Texas where she married and raised her two daughters in Round Rock, TX. Donna was an active member of the Round Rock Woman’s Club and worked for many years in sales for various printing firms. Later in life she moved with her husband David Carr to Lakeway, Texas where she enjoyed cooking, gardening, shopping, and doting on her granddaughters.
Donna is survived by her daughter Suzanne Revell Matthews and son-in-law Johnny Matthews, of Frisco, TX, daughter Jessica Revell Thomas and son-in-law Jason Thomas, and grandchildren Emerson and Cameran Thomas, of Austin, TX.
A celebration of life will be held at Weed Corley Fish Funeral Home in Lakeway, TX on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at 10:00 am, with a reception to follow.
