Ivie L. Zeigler

Ivie L Zeigler was born on November, 28th, 1959, Ivie was born in Florence, TX. She moved to McAllen, TX and met James Edwin Zeigler Jr. at McAllen High School in 1974. They married in 1980 and had Amanda Elaine Zeigler on June 28th, 1981 in Dallas, TX. They then had Marcie Lynn Zeigler in Irving, TX on October 26th, 1983. In 1986, the family moved to Austin, Texas.

Ivie enjoyed music and art as well as surrounding herself with thoughtful memories. She enjoyed her trips down to South Padre Island, and she loved the beach and the waves. One of her favorite pastimes was shopping, buying gifts for others, just to see them smile. After being together for 43 years and married for 36 years, Ivie Zeigler passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday, December 14th, 2017. She is proceeded in death by her mother Margie Elizabeth Schrader, her father, Cecil Samuel James, sisters, Jackie Lynn Coughran and Mary Catherine Roark and brother, Harold Schrader Jr. She is survived by her husband, James Edwin Zeigler Jr., two children Amanda Elaine Zeigler and Marcie Lynn Zeigler, as well as her little sister, Joyce Drew Currin.

A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Weed-Corley-Fish Lake Travis Chapel, 411 Ranch Road 620 South, Lakeway, TX.
