Joseph Alfred Bailey

Joseph graduated from Southern Methodist University in University Park, TX with a BSEE degree. Joe was very passionate about the Green Movement resulting in him becoming a LEED Accredited Professional and the last 6 years his focus had been on providing products and consultation for Energy Efficient and Environmentally Responsible Construction. Most of Joe’s professional life was as a computer architect, the last being with AMD where many of his designs were presented patents.

Along with being passionate about the Green Movement, being a member of the USGBC and having an innovative mind, Joe was a Home Brewer and loved sharing good food and drink with friends while trying to solve the problems in the world. Joe was a very intelligent, loving and kind hearted man.

Joe is survived by his wife of 17 years, Dianne Nugent Bailey, his perfect companion, Harley, mother-in-law, Barbara Nugent, his niece, Leah Murry and great nephew Thomas Murry.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 2nd at 5 p.m. in the Magnolia Room of Weed-Corley-Fish Lake Travis, 411 RR 620 South, Lakeway, TX with a reception to follow.
