
I am deeply saddened to, just now, be hearing about this. I recently finished my sophomore year of college and was reflecting on teachers that have inspired me over the many, many years I have been in school. As I looked back I fondly remembered Sra. Theobald, as I knew her, and decided to write to her to tell how much I appreciate all she did as my teacher. I'll now share what I wanted to write with all of you. Sra. Theobald was one of the first and only teachers who truly inspired me to better myself both in school and as a person. I was always excited to go to her class and she was absolutely one of the highlights of my Hyde Park experience. I will always remember you and am so glad that I had the honor of knowing you! 



I was shocked to find out she passed on.  I was her friend during the Berkeley years and found her to be full of fun and humor.  I am sad she went on.



To my loss, I never met her, but learned so much about her at the service.  It was heart warming to hear such great stories and to meet people who held her in such high esteem.  She truly was a remarkable woman and I enjoyed meeting her wonderful friends and family.



This is bittersweet news of Kathleen's passing.  Last nite, I was volunteering at the Lockhart Prison Unit as Kathleen also did...and we got the news of her passing.  She truely cared for the ladies in prison who yearned to know our Lord.  She shared with them new hope and inspiration for their life!   I'm going to miss her and her dedication.  

You are blessed to have her as a wife and mom!  I will keep praying for your heart to look for the good memories.  She is with our Lord,-- wonderful for her-- BUT our hearts will miss her presence.  -until we meet again, sweet lady.

Kathleen had a gift for loving young people like noone I've ever known.  She was a precious colleague and friend, a masterful teacher, and an incredible role model of God's grace.  I thank Him for allowing us to experience her for a time.  I look forward to our reunion in heaven one day and continue to pray for her children.  May you all feel God's loving arms around you during this difficult time.

My husband and I had the wonderful blessing to meet David & Kathleen in our weekly Lifegroup (Bible Study).  Upon meeting them was like we had always known them........full of love and grace.  Their love for the Lord, each other, and their family was an example that we know honored their Lord.   We will miss her terribly, and remember the footprints she left upon our hearts.  We know,  we will meet again one day!!  Our deepest sympathy for those she leaves behind.

Kathleen enriched my life in so many ways.  I had the pleasure of knowing her through the raising of her amazing family.   Her grace and humor brought an ease to all who were around her.  Besides her sweet smile, captured so well in the photo, I also recall her honest and thoughtful look.  She felt  and cared deeply for her family and friends.  Don and Jennette, thank you for raising such a classy lady of a daughter  Leez, Paul,Issac, Abbie and Rachel, your trials have been great.  Comfort each other and know you were loved by your Mom and Dad.  Support and be supported by Don and Jennette, as ya'll heal.

she was fun and loved the lord. in class if we had a question about the lord she would answer it and put off the lessons to help us with the lord. She was the most wonderful person i met who loved God and i pray for her family that god will give them strength. May God be with you.



My earliest memories of Kathleen were of a deep and sincere, godly woman who had a gentle and fun spirit. I found her so easy to "click" with - and my guess is everyone else felt that way about her. She had a way of making one feel at home.
I watched Kathleen face her trials with peace and confidence. She truly was an inspiration. I am deeply saddened by her passing, but also very proud of her, as I am certain she has received a great reward for her faithfulness to our Lord. My heartfelt prayers are with her children and family. Peace be with you.

Kathleen was my closest friend for over 32 years....my former roommate and neighbor.   We shared our Aug birthdays together, raised our families together, went through ups and downs together and still stayed close even though many miles apart.  And when we talked again, it was as if no time passed.  She was always cheerful, positive, hopeful, optimistic, loving, never complained, and loved beauty and created beauty around her.  She loved both her husbands, her children and her parents so much and lived to serve them and others. Kath loved everybody else's children too and they loved her.  I am SO glad that Sara got to visit her just recently! 
Most of all, Kathleen was a woman of FAITH AND CHARACTER, and though she didn't know what the future held, she knew Who held the future and it gave her great PEACE, COMFORT, LOVE, JOY and SECURITY.  She knew that God loved her and loved her children even more than she did. She knew where she was going and knew that Jesus was in control of everything, and she could 'let go'.  She longed for everyone she loved (and she loved everybody she met) to have this faith too.  
We sang next to each other in choir for years and would often comment on the words of this song:
'Iâ€™ll love Thee in life, I will love Thee in death,And praise Thee as long as Thou lendest me breath;And say when the death dew lies cold on my brow,If ever I loved Thee, my Jesus, â€™tis now.

We all lost a wonderful woman and our heartfelt condolences go to her family.   We love you all so much and are SO sad to not be at the funeral.



Kathleen loved her family, her job, and her friends.Kathleen was someone that was a very special friend.  She had a genuine interest in people and the world. She was proud of her children, and was very happy and content with her dear husband, David. We will miss her, but know that she feels no pain, and she will meet us in heaven.
