Lukas Dean Kliefoth

Lukas Dean Kliefoth was a joyful, free-spirited little boy who brought light into the lives of everyone who knew him. To his parents, Stephanie and Matthew, Lukas was their light. Lukas came along and reminded them of their purpose, bringing a kind of love and joy that changed their family forever. His life may have been short, but the mark he left on the hearts of those who loved him will last forever.

Lukas was born on January 17, 2024, in Austin, Texas, and made his home in Lakeway, Texas, with his parents and siblings, Zeke and Nevaeh. He loved to run around, especially with no shoes, ride his bike, eat his favorite snacks, and listen to music in the car. He was free—full of curiosity, energy, and an unmistakable joy for life. He loved being surrounded by his family and spending time at church, where so many people came to know and love his sweet spirit.

Lukas is deeply loved and will be forever missed by his parents, Stephanie and Matthew; his siblings, Zeke and Nevaeh; his grandparents, Angela and David Slupe, Barbara and Kevin Kliefoth, and Tracey and Rick Taylor; and his aunts and uncles, Misty, Jarrell, Robbie, Kenny, Corina, Jojo, Amanda, and Cierra.

“Though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand." Psalm 37:24 reminds us that even when life is hard, the Lord holds us by the hand. Lukas's family carries that promise with them as they walk through the days ahead, trusting that God will continue to hold them close.

And in the words of Romans 8:38, we are reminded that nothing—not even death—can separate us from the love of God. That love surrounded Lukas during his life and continues to surround everyone who loves him.

The family would like to extend a special thank you and heartfelt love to Natasha Ballard, Tony Aguilar, and Taylor Fox for the love, support, and care they have shown to Lukas and his family.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 22, at 2:00 PM at Lakeway Church, with a reception to follow. Public viewing at 1:00PM.

Lukas's time here was far too short, but his life was filled with love, purpose, laughter, and light. He was a gift to his family—a little boy who came into their lives and showed them a deeper purpose and a love they will carry forever.
