Madeline Angela Faloon, age 81, of Austin, Texas passed away peacefully on September 23, 2025. She was the beloved wife of Larry for 59 years, devoted mother of David and Ted and cherished grandmother of Katelyn, Sarah, Alex, Prax, Will and Nick. She was preceded in death by her sister Patricia Ibbotson and parents Sophia and Russell Ibbotson. Born in Detroit, Madeline and Larry made their home in Romeo for many years before settling in Birmingham.
A graduate of the University of Michigan, Madeline went on to earn a graduate degree in psychology from Oakland University. She dedicated more than 25 years to serving as a school psychologist in the Macomb County Schools, where she guided countless students and families through life’s challenges with care and compassion. Madeline loved reading, music and travel. In retirement, Madeline and Larry divided their time between Birmingham and Austin, spending time with sons’ families and their grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at the Cherry Creek Golf Club in Shelby Twp, MI on November 15, 2025 beginning at 1:00 pm.
