

BACCARELLA, Michael Angelo, 95, a Tampa native, entered into eternal peace on March 9, 2013. A loving, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather whose greatest joy and passion in life was his family. One part of his life that brought him the greatest amount of happiness and joy, was the time he would spend being "Papa" with his three great-grandchildren.
He attended Hillsborough High School, and graduated from the University of Tampa in 1940 with a B.S. Degree in Education. After his graduation, being fluent in three languages, he went to Miami, Florida where he worked for the Department of Immigrations as an interpreter. His work ethic and dedication led him to a successful business career as an accountant which he owned and operated for over 40 years.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 59 years, Onelia Baccarella, and loving daughter, Jean Nancy Baccarella. He leaves to cherish his memories, his devoted daughter, Judith G. Murphy; grandchildren, Michael S. Murphy (Lisa), Michele D. Lazzara (Trey) all of Austin Texas; great-grandchildren, Luke Angelo Lazzara, Mia Bella Lazzara, and Jake Andrew Murphy. He loved to reminisce and entertain people with stories and adventures of his life experiences. Michael will be forever remembered as a compassionate man of honor, integrity, and wisdom with a beautiful smile and a gentle heart and a wonderful sense of humor.
Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at the Summit at Lakeway, 1917, Lohmans Crossing Road in Lakeway. Michael was very much loved and will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends, and may he rest in everlasting eternal peace.
