Nick was born in Austin, TX on June 6, 1984. He grew up and graduated high school in Los Alamos, NM. From there, he attended and graduated from Texas Tech University in 2006 with a degree in Civil Engineering.
Nick was a devoted father and husband, and a caring son, brother and friend. He enjoyed baseball, softball and golf, and coaching his children in all manner of youth sports. He took pleasure in landscaping with his wife and woodworking in his garage. He was a problem-solver who often took on difficult projects around the house. His favorite movie was “Field of Dreams”, which he would quote often. And he was certainly a die-hard Red Raider and Astros fan. He will be deeply missed by friends, family and all who knew him.
Nick is survived by his parents, Doyle and Mary Erwin; his wife, Robyn McNabb Erwin; his children, Elizabeth Anne McNabb, Mary Elizabeth “Emmy” Erwin and Brayden Michael McNabb; his siblings, Brock Erwin, Luke Erwin and wife Ashley, and Toni Lynn Erwin; his grandmother, Barbara Cull; and by several uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.

“We just don’t recognize life’s most significant moments while they’re happening. Back then, I thought, ‘Well, there’ll be other days.’ I didn’t realize that was the only day.”
