She retired from Conoco Inc., Houston, Texas. Norma enjoyed playing bridge as well as chicken foot and loved talking about her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of Emmaus Catholic Church in Lakeway, Texas.
Norma is survived by her daughter, Marcia Burton Adams and her husband, Terry; her son Dwayne Burton and his wife, Connie; daughter-in-law, Marlu Burton and son-in-law, Jim King and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas James Burton, Sr.; her daughter, Barbara Burton King and her son, Thomas Burton, Jr.
A funeral mass will be held on September 30 at 10 A.M. at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Katy, Texas. Interment will follow at Forest Park/Westheimer Cemetery in Houston, Texas.
