

Ron is survived by his loving wife, Janey "Tutz", and their two daughters and spouses, Jennifer and Darrell Thomas of Lucas, Texas; Renee and Trey Heaton of Frisco, Texas. Ron was also a proud grandfather to his five grandchildren; Amanda, Ben, Emma, Beth and Parker. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Josephine and Clarence Richardson and his sister Patricia Hardin.
He loved being a special member of Janey's entire "clan" and the wonderful fun family events it brought. He also loved Riverbend Church and delighted in the wonderful music, message, friends and fellowship.
Ron was born at the Naval Air Station near Corpus Christi, Texas, on October 17, 1945, and grew up in nearby Flour Bluff, Texas. He served 2 years in the U.S. Navy during the Viet Nam War. He then moved to Houston and began his 31 year career with Xerox Corporation. During this time he met Janey, who also worked for Xerox in Houston.
Ron enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed traveling to many wonderful places around the world, and spending time at their lake house in Spicewood, Texas where he and Janey married and later retired.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home Lake Travis, 411 Ranch Road 620 in Lakeway.
