It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved sister, Stacey A. Myers, on February 22, 2026, Lakeway TX. Stacey was born February 14, 1963, in Frankfurt, Germany to proud military parents, Herbie and Oralia (“Lottie”) Myers. She grew up in San Antonio, Texas where she participated in various clubs in her youth including FFA and Young Explorers. She found her true love in music when she joined the John Marshall High School marching band, rising all the way to up to Drum Major. From then on music and entertainment became the industry of choice. Stacey worked as a DJ at Jezebel’s, then later as a sound technician at Fiesta Texas’s Rock ’n at Rockville High show.
In 2004 she was given the opportunity to join Cirque Du Soleil. Starting out as a sound technician, Stacey’s journey began in Algeria. She participated in a world tour visiting several locations like Singapore and Australia. Eventually she rose to the position of General Stage Manager of KA in Las Vegas, Nevada. In 2020, after almost 16 years, she returned to Austin, Texas to be with family and continued her entertainment career as an Activities Director for Arbor Terrace, an assisted living and memory care community.
Throughout her life, Stacey surrounded herself with friends and family she loved. She was always outgoing and treated everyone like they were an old lifelong friend. We will miss her always.
