She was preceded in death by her parents Ralph & Billie Sue Townes and husband, Dr. Philip E. Duvall.
She is survived by her brother, Ralph Townes and his wife, three sons, Kevin, Marshall, Chris, their wives and 8 grandchildren.
She accepted Christ early in her life and continued that faith through the end of her life. She requested a celebration that gives honor, praise and glory to her Savior. She requested a lot of singing and happiness because she graduated into heaven. She was actively involved in her church with her Sunday school ambassador’s class during her life in Lubbock.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Belmont Village of Lakeway, TX, and Silverado Hospice for the care and compassion they showed to her during the final stage of her life.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life service at Frist United Methodist Church, Bowman Chapel in Lubbock, TX on Saturday, August 1 at 10 am. A reception will follow in the Parlor following the service.
