

Highlights of Terry's life include: Starter and co-captain of his high school basketball team and popular among his classmates in his hometown of Great Bend, KS. He went on to earn his bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Kansas State University - Go Wildcats. He married Kaye Morgan and raised two daughters, Beverly and Karin. During that time, Terry's career in railroad, shipping and aluminum industries took his young family from Illinois, to Pennsylvania, then to California. In 1979, Terry married Helen Gibbs and raised their daughter Natalie. They lived in California, Texas, Indiana, and Missouri while he achieved professional success eventually becoming plant manager and then COO of Wells Aluminum. In 1992, Terry married the love of his life, Nancy (Drost) Ahrens. They bought and grew an architectural sign business in Colorado then retired to Arizona, finally settling in the Austin, Texas area.
Throughout his life, Terry made friends easily everywhere he went sharing and enjoying life experiences. He never met a stranger. He was an avid golfer, nearly mastering the game and developing a great appreciation for the sport. He was forever a K-State fan. Frank Sinatra was his favorite entertainer of all time - ol' blue eyes. Terry loved a good steak and a glass of wine or two. He adored his wife Nancy who loved him unconditionally.
Terry is survived by his wife, Nancy, his three daughters; Beverly Waugh of Orinda CA, Karin Williams and her husband Dan of Loomis, CA, and Natalie Waugh of Los Gatos, CA; his two grandchildren Katherine Williams and Mary Williams of Loomis, CA; three nephews Stuart Waugh, Geoffrey Waugh, and Stephen Waugh all of northern CA.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Richard "Dick" Waugh and their parents.
Memorial services will be held at 2PM, Saturday, January 19, 2013, at Weed-Corley-Fish Lake Travis Chapel, 411 Ranch Road 620 South, Lakeway, Texas 78734.
