Clarence was born on December 11th 1944, in Lubbock, Texas to William Frank and Doris Cox and married to Linda Joan Smith. He formally lived in Sherman, TX before moving to Spicewood and lived there over fifteen years. He worked as an Gas and Oil Auditor for the Texas General Land Office where he retired.
Survivors include his wife Linda Joan Cox, son William Matthew Cox and daughter-in-law Monica Lynn Cox. Also two brothers Jay Alan Cox and wife Connie Rhea and Randall Duayne Cox and wife Delores Jean. Also included are his niece and nephew Tiffany Rose and Tanner Ray.
A gathering of friends and family will take place at 11 AM Monday, September 2, 2013, at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home located at 411 Ranch Road South 620 in Lakeway, TX. Services will be conducted on site. Burial will be held at the cemetery at Bee Caves Baptist Church located at the corner of HWY 71 and RR620.
