William Neal Travis, 63, of Gloversville, passed away June 10, 2014, at his home. He was born February 27, 1951 in Spokane, Washington, son of the late Col. John T. Travis & Dorothy L. Travis of Kerrville, Texas.
Mr. Travis was a writer, philosopher & poet. He loved to travel and followed his heart wherever that would take him.
He loved thunderstorms & the changing of the leaves in Fall.
He was successfully fighting throat cancer and excited to be finishing treatment soon and be able to travel to Texas.
He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Neal Nelson Farrar, son-in-law Shane Farrar & granddaughter Makena Rose Farrar, of Lakeway, TX. Mr. Travis is also survived by his siblings, Thomas L. Travis of Nichols Hills, OK, Timothy Travis of Hockley, TX & Diane Perhamus of Kerrville, TX.
