Ann was a graduate of California Hospital in 1958 where she earned her RN degree. She met her handsome Navy husband in Long Beach and she married Edward Reel on June 24, 1961. Ed continued to be the most devoted husband to her for 57 years, always by her side for all of life’s joys and sorrows. They moved to the Antelope Valley in 1968, where they’ve lived for 50 years. She is survived by her husband, Edward and her two daughters, Cindy Reel, Linda Baron and Husband CDR Sean Baron USNAR ret. her adored grandchildren, Rhett Baron, McKenna Baron and Shane Baron. Her brother Geoffrey Baker and wife Anja, nephews Michael Baker (wife Rose), Stephen Baker (wife Marinella), Eric Baker, and Samuel Baker. Ann was described by all who knew her as the most caring, kind and sweet person they knew. She dedicated her life to helping others through her nursing profession, and then to her family and friends, and anyone she knew who needed a helping hand. She thought of others before herself. She was the person our family relied on to help with any problem and she always had the right words to say. Ed and Ann took their daughters on many vacations all over California, creating many memories for their family with camping and fishing. Our close knit family was blessed with every holiday and birthday together for many years. She enjoyed traveling to Virginia to be with her grandkids, and was named “Drama” when McKenna couldn’t say Grandma. She shared her love of Dolls with her granddaughter, attended her dance recitals, and went to her grandson’s baseball and hockey games. She was a member of the doll club, making beautiful dolls by hand.
