Betty Jo Miller

Betty was married for 69 wonderful years to the love of her life, William “Bill” Miller, until his passing on November 27, 2019. Together, Bill and Betty made their home in Boron, California, where they raised their three daughters and built a life filled with family, faith, love, and many cherished memories.

For many years, Betty worked as a dietitian at Boron Hospital. She was a devoted Christian whose faith was an important part of her life. She was a beautiful example of kindness, strength, love, and devotion to her family and to God. Her gentle spirit and caring heart touched the lives of everyone who knew her.

Betty is survived by her three daughters, Sheila Amento (Chuck), Loretta Wiser (Stephen), and Tonya Adkins; her grandchildren, Lisa and Eddie Sexton, Lucas and Jennifer Robertson, Maclain and Amy Wiser, Shasta and Vincent Howard, Latessa and Tommy Wolfe, and Andrew Adkins; her sisters, Joyce and Jim Ayres, Paula and Duane Benbow, and her many nieces, nephews, cousins, loved ones, and friends across the states and Mexico.

“Mom Miller” was blessed with 22 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren, all of whom she loved dearly. She adored each one and took great pride in them. She loved talking about her family, sharing stories, and she was always proud of the people they had become. Her love for her family was one of the greatest gifts she gave us.

Betty was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bill Miller, her parents, Chester and Nona Hubbard; and her two brothers, Hulan Hubbard and Dean Hubbard.

Betty leaves behind a lifetime of love and memories that will continue to live on through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and all those who were fortunate enough to know her. Her faith, her love for her family, and the warmth she brought into the lives of others will be carried forward by the generations she leaves behind.

Though she will be deeply missed, her family takes comfort in knowing that she is reunited with the love of her life and resting in the arms of the Lord she faithfully served.

A Funeral Service will be held at Joshua Memorial Park Mortuary, 808 East Lancaster Blvd, Lancaster, CA 93535, US, on September 25, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

A Graveside Service will follow at Joshua Memorial Park, 808 East Lancaster Blvd, Lancaster, CA 93535, US, on September 25, 2026, from 11:00 am to 11:30 am.
