In loving memory of David L. Hemmerick who was and will forever continue to be a loving devoted son, both to his late father Lt. U.S.N. Wiliam James Hemmerick and his most beloved late mother Joan Hemmerick.
Loving brother to Martyn Habeger, Stephen Hemmereick, Kristin Hemmerick and Faith "Fazie" Liebel (Hemmerick) and brother in law to Stephen Liebel, loving grandson, uncle, cousin, and friend of many.
Born 10/22/1950 who passed into eternity on 09/10/13 at the age of 61.
David's passing into paradise brought immediate and great sorrow to many, but no grief was greater than that of his late mother whom he loved and cared for most of his adult life. All who came to know him marveled at his unfailing love, care, and devotion to his family, friends and many loved ones during the course of his life.
David loved God and the Bible, playing tennis, and military history, especially naval history. Growing up, David was and continued to be social, fearless and at times quite precocious much to his loving mothers often concern and endless delight! He is sorely missed by many who came to know, love and care about him during his all too brief pilgrimage here on earth.
We love you David and celebrate your return to your father, and embrace of your arriving mother as well as other loved ones in heaven. Truly you shared with all of us the timeless internal truth that there is no greater love than those who are willing to lay down our lives for others. David this is your legacy and example forever.
