

Devin Da'Vaughn Greenwood the only son to the union of Robert Benjamin Greenwood and Carolyn Greenwood Gordon on November 9th, 1988 in Palmdale, California. He confessed the Lord Jesus at the age of seven and was baptized at Calvary Baptist Church. He was a part of Calvary Baptist Church of Pacoima where he participated in Sunday School and Children's Choir.
Devin attended Calvary Baptist School, Brainard Elementary, Frost Middle School and John F. Kennedy High School. Upon relocating to Palmdale, he continued his education and graduated from Palmdale High School. He then furthered his education at Arizona Institute Drafting School, where he completed and received his Associates Degree. Later attending Western Beauty Institute, where he completed and received his Barbering Certificate.
Devin was diagnosed with Sickle Cell at age 11 months. He was a member of the Sickle Cell Foundation from age 7 to 27 years old. He displayed so much courage and strength to become successful by not allowing the disease to be his weakness. One of the glorious moments of his life is when he became a father. He displayed a unique way of fathering his child that was in a class of its own. The true definition of love shown to his son after being told by his physicians that he could never have a child.
Devin was hard working, dedicated, dependable and assertive when it came to his work ethic. Because of his dedication to the Starwood Corporation he progressed from customer service representative to a management position.
Devin was proceeded in death by his father Robert Greenwood Jr., grandparents Elnora Greenwood, Robert Benjamin Greenwood Sr. Ella Elizabeth Moore, Frank Mckerrell Moore Sr., and uncle Terrence Forsythe.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother Carolyn Gordon, step father Willie Gordon III, sister Erika Greenwood, son Devin Greenwood Jr., nephew Deon Lopez Jr., Deloris Robertson; (Mother of his Child), and a host of cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
