Hi baby girl. I received your death certificates today. It's been rough Honey. If it wasn't for your visits I don't know how I would make it. You always seem to know when I need you the most. I pray I'm not keeping you from something more important or worse, keeping you in limbo.
    I haven't written on this forum because my feelings are raw and it is hard to share them.  I am making progress, mostly with your help. I found a Valentines' Day card you forgot to give me last year. I saved it to open, thank you. I think your thoughtfulness was an amazing part of you. You had so little but gave so much.  Got past Easter by knowing you're with Jesus. Mothers Day is next. I remember so clearly how important it was for the three of us to be together, you, Grandma and me. We both were so afraid it would be her last. How ironic. The day I am dreading the most is May 31st. I can feel the anxiety building. I have been getting through the year by reminding myself, last year at this time Dianna and I were.... After May 31st I just don't know what my tool will be. I know this..., I am still alive and I will continue to live with your memories and visits to keep me going till we meet again. What a glorious day that will be.

Its been exactly 3 months tomorrow that you left us.  Everyday i want to call, then feel sick to my stomache because i remember your not going to answer. Moms heart breaks everyday, i try to comfort but nothing takes away the pain.  Kylie and Devon Miss you really bad, they need a good dose of Aunt Dianna.  A piece of my life is gone with out you to fill it.  I miss our chats( we had some good ones) lol. I love you forever, I will see you again, it will seem seconds for you, but an eternity for me...

We have always made our birthdays special for each other. Thank you everyone, your words mean so much to me. I haven't had the heart to answer every post.Just cause I don't always answer each post, doesn't mean I didn't read and appreciate each and every one. It does help, a  lot to know she was loved. I was so afraid people wouldn't come to her service yesterday , to avoid the pain. I was very happy with the turn out and display of love. I believe closure is very , important. not to say my grief is closed, you all know what I mean ,It helped to get togetheer as a unit to support each other in our grief.
  Now I have a request for all of you. please... for Dianna, for me, but most important...for yourselves. Make it count! stop the maddness. Make the right decision, not the easy one.  Enjoy waht life gives you. take each oppertunity to experiance a new adventure. No matter how small, wheather a walk with you dog, a swim in the lake, a trip to Disnyland. they all add up to a sum total of your lifes memoties, and in the end that is all we have of each other. So please don't waste time on grudges, pettyness or wallow in grief or depression.

What a beautiful service it was for you sweet friend.  I don't want to ever think or believe you didn't know how loved you were, but I will say this now; If ever you had a doubt, I know now you can rest assured that your love was felt and returned by many.  SO many people had and have such wonderful memories of and with you, I wanted badly to share one, but had so many to choose from that I would have kept everyone there all day.  All of your family embraced and acknowledged me as your best friend, your Mom gave me all the pictures you kept with us, I saw Meghan and Ryan who are no longer kids and FINALLY met Uncle Jim!!!  My life was truly changed to have known you and will forever be better because of you.  Smile down on me today as I cry and continue to do so as I live on in celebration of your life. Remembering all the good times with you!  You were our photgrapher at our wedding.  Christian adored you and would cry with joy when you came over on weekends. He cried when you danced with your cousin Harold at a wedding because he only wanted you to dance with him. You would swim with each other for hours. We went trick or treating and you were Dorothy and he was a Ninja Turtle.  We went to the Business Expo and laughed so much.  You took the macaroni and chesse from the donation bin and thought it was a sample.  We saw Carlton from Fresh Prince and asked for his autograph.  Every year we went to get the Easter Bunny pictures and the Santa Claus pictures.  We had fun at Wild Animal Park, Disneyland, Magic Mountain, Palm Springs and Tijuana. Once driving to Palm Springs Liz wanted Christian to stop playing his harmonica and you laughed so much because she was annoyed with him. You put candy in your dad's armpits while he fell asleep when we were visiting Leslie on the beach. You and me always had to stop on the freeway and find a place to p!$$ constantly.  I love the picture of you and Christian wearing sombreros.You sent me a copy of it on my birthday this year.  We saw you when you were the Babe in Babes in Toyland.  And had lunch with you after the beauty contest you entered in Lancaster.  And people were looking at you and you were so HAPPY! You were very sucessful when you worked at the baseball stadium in Lancaster and waitressed in North Carolina. I am very happy that you met Charlie and found love. When 911 happened you told me that you would have given the hijackers a shot of insulin!  You were by far the bravest.
I am very sorry for your mother and your father.  To lose a daughter I cannot even imagine the pain.  I remember many times you saying if anything ever happened to your mother that you would not know how to go on.  You were that close.  Your father and I think of you daily and will miss you very much. What I loved about you the most was your laughter. There will never be another person like you.

Ooohhhh Dianna, what do I do without you? You are my sunshine. I never knew two people could be so close. We have seen and known the best and worst of each other,and loved each other because of it, not in spite of it. When you got diabetes at 12, neither of knew what we were in for. Diabetesis  a terrible disease, I often wished you would've gotten it earlier, and had time to adapt before puberty hit. Right when a kid doesn't want to different, you were. Every time we got a hold of it, a new challenge came right around the corner. I think it was too much for one person to handle. Even the doctors couldn't control it when you were in the hospital, when they were monitoring your intake of food and medications. 
In spite of you challenge with depression, and numerous other inflictions you always chose life. For that you will always be my hero.  I am so grateful of our last conversation, when you told me how happy you were. You wrote in my Mother's Day card, about your dreams and goals. You told me by the time I came back from Kona, you would have a job. I helped you with your resume. We talked of you coming to Kona with me in December. You had so much to live for my Darling brown eyed girl. Then you went to sleep, and never woke up. 
    When you were little, and also every time I got on a plane or went somewhere, you would tell me, Mommy, I couldn't go on without you if something happened to you, and I would tell youâ€¦.life is beautiful Dianna, live for me, Now, here I am without you. I knew not, of what I asked. It is not so easy.in fact, I'm not quite sure what I'll do without you. We were everything to each other. I would say, you are my heart and you would say back to me, you are my soul.
   Dad and Annette have been amazing, even through their own grief, they are watching me. Y our friends are coming out from everywhere, so saddened. Maggie, Emily, Tara, Christen to name a few. Charlie, especially Charlie.
I talk to you constantly, like you are a lucky charm or something. The weird thing is, I get answers. Annette told me the same thing. I am so glad she moved back here. We need each other. I saw you the other night, watching over me. You looked so sad. Soon, my darling you will be happier than one can imagine. You had such a tough road, and an even tougher one ahead of you, with those upcoming surgeries. No more pain, no more needles, infections, medications, depression, sickness of any kind. I know rain falls on us all, I just could never figure out why it pours on just a few. 
I could write on and on, but I want to say, that having you for a daughter was my honor. I loved you unconditionally in life and I will do so in death.

DIANNA HAD MORE STRUGGLES THAN THE AVERAGE PERSON DUE IN PART TO HEALTH PROBLEMS, YET SHE ALWAYS MAINTAINED A GOOD ATTITUDE. I NEVER HEARD HER SAY A BAD WORD ABOUT ANYONE. SHE LOVED HER FAMILY AND FRIENDS.  SHE WAS WITHOUT A DOUBT A VERY GENEROUS PERSON. WHAT LITTLE MONEY SHE HAD SHE WOULD SPEND IT ON YOU AND NOT HERSELF. SHE WOULD GIVE YOU THE SHIRT OFF HER BACK IF YOU NEEDED IT.

Dianna & I were friends in elementary school and junior high school. When I heard about her passing I was lost for words. I will always remember hanging out with you, Tara, and Kristine at the mall and by the pool and all of the good times that we had together. You were a great person and a kindred spirit. Dianna always had a beautiful smile yet I could always read her pain. She was so sensitive to others feelings, such a gentle soul. "This world was never meant for one as beautiful as you". I know she is resting in Gods arms now and has abundant love and peace.

I will always and forever hold all our special memories close to my heart.You were like a sister to me for many years and we were inseperable from the day we met in elementary school at the park,until our Junior year in high school when I moved out of state.Your mom and Randy treated me like part of your family.I am forever thankful they opened their hearts to me the way they did.So many things I have only experienced once in my lifetime because of our special bond and their kindness to me.Just to mention a few, our adventerous trip to Mammoth where I 1st learned to ski, my 1st and only dodgers game they took us to,our memorable birthday blast in  Reno,Nevada (my 1st and only time there),and so much more.We had a kind of bond  that very few people are ever lucky enough know. I don't really have the right words in my mind to say what it is I feel in dealing with your loss Dianna, but I believe you know what is in my heart.
