Fred H. Turrill Jr.

Fred was born in Downey to Fred H. Turrill Sr. and Wanda Childers on February 26th, 1942. He worked as a machinist and served in the US Navy as a Machinist Mate. In semi-retirement he worked in the front office of Westside Christian School in Palmdale. He married his wife of 51 years, Carolyn Louise Fuller on July 13, 1963 and they raised two sons in the San Fernando Valley. They resided in Reno, NV from 1993 to 2001. They moved to Palmdale in 2001.

He loved the Lord, his family and his country. He enjoyed playing pinochle, chess, and spending time with his grandchildren. Fred had a great sense of humor and a wonderful attitude which warmed the hearts of all who knew him.

Fred is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Wanda. He is survived by his wife Carolyn. Their son Alan, their son Kevin and his wife Blanca, two granddaughters, Megan and Olivia, and a grandson, Thomas.
