Uncle George, I hope you rest in peace.  My father Hal spoke highly of you and I know he appreciated having you as his big brother growing up.  My family, Julianne, Hunter and Taylor, send their love and hope that you are moving on to a better place.  Your nephew, Steven Harold Haney

Although I did not know, and never met, George John Haney, he was my brother-in-law's big brother.  I sincerely regret his death.  I would have liked to meet him before he passed over to the other side.

I was Hal's 1st wife, and I knew George at the time. To all the Haneys I send my sincere condolences.

I remember playing with you as a kid and what fun we had.  Rest in Peace.

My name is Hal Haney and this is a poem I wrote for George entitled:
                         My Big Brother
George was my only Bro and I guess at 82 it was his time to Go
Its true for many years we were Apart
But he was always in my Heart
sibling rivalry can ugly Be and so it was between George and Me
but last December when he called my Cell and I heard my brothers Voice
I knew between us all would be Well, for brothers really have no Choice
I said  "I Love You"  and the last four words he said to Me "I Love You Too"
will always Be in my...Memory...
