Sundberg, Howard A. ”Swede”, age 92, of Lancaster, passed away January 24, 2021. He was born July 16, 1928 to Meta and Louis Sundberg, in Fergus Falls, MN. He worked 40 years for General Telephone Co., in Santa Monica and Lancaster. He met the love of his life, Dorothy Troeger, marrying her in 1949. They moved to Lancaster in 1953, where they raised five children. Howard served as a wonderful example of a Christian husband and father. He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Dorothy, and four children, Carolyn Sundberg, Margaret (Alex) Negron, Thomas Sundberg, Howard (Elizabeth) Sundberg; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by son Stephen Sundberg, in 2015. In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to Grace Lutheran Church, in Lancaster.
