It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jared Robert Venegas, who departed this world on September 27, 2026. Born on September 21, 1999, in Redwood City, California, Jared brought light, laughter, and joy into the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Jared was the cherished son of Robert and Arcadia Venegas and shared a deep and loving bond with his siblings, Robert A. Venegas III, JohnnyB. Venegas (Alyssa), and Mellanie Gibbs (Collin). He was a beloved uncle to his niece, Evangelina, and nephew, JohnnyB. II, whose lives were made brighter by his laughter, kindness, and loving presence. Jared was also deeply loved by his grandparents, devoted uncles and aunts, loving cousins, and many friends, all of whom were touched by his generous heart and caring spirit.
A proud graduate of Liberty High School’s Class of 2017, Jared demonstrated a strong sense of duty, determination, and dedication from an early age. He answered the call to serve his country by joining the United States Army as a 91B Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic stationed at Fort Riley, Kansas. Jared proudly dedicated four years to military service, earning the respect and admiration of those who served alongside him.
Following his honorable military service, Jared began a civilian career with KBR at Fort Irwin, California. Through his strong work ethic, dedication, and commitment to excellence, he advanced from mechanic to Technical Inspector. He took great pride in his work and his ability to support and work with his team.
Jared lived his life with loyalty, perseverance, kindness, and an unwavering love for those closest to him. He will be remembered for his infectious smile, his warm and generous nature, and the compassion he showed to others. His love for his family and friends was boundless, and some of his happiest moments were found in life’s simple pleasures—sharing meals with family, camping, fishing, off roading, gaming with friends, and spending treasured time with his niece.
Although Jared’s time with us was far too short, the love he gave and the memories he created will remain forever. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, but his spirit will live on through the countless lives he touched
