Born August 10, 1950, in Rio Hondo, Texas. Passed away May 17, 2013 in Lancaster California. He grew up in Rio Hondo, Texas,went to Texas State Institute, Fresno College, North Iowa College. He has lived in the Antelope Valley since 1994, moving here from Orange County. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson with his wife on weekends . Survived by his wife Mary Luisa Mejia, sons Paul Garcia, Elisabeth Sarmiento, Carmen Mejia, Leora Venegas and Lala Mejia. Also survived by his parents Miguel and Carmen Mejia of LaFeria, Texas, other relatives Martha Mejia, Delia Castillo, Miguel Mejia, Maria Bravo, Letty Rodriguez and Ruth Mejia. Viewing will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., Wednesday May 22, 2013, with Services at 10 a.m., Tuesday, May 28, 2013, both at Joshua Memorial Park and Mortuary, Lancaster.
