

Juanita was born on November 26, 1927, in rural Garvin County, Oklahoma, to Henry Lee and Etta Beatrice Bullock. She was the oldest of five children with siblings Jody, Lucy, Herb, and Sue.
Juanita was a woman of remarkable strength, independence, and resilience. She was married to Claude Thomas, and together they raised two sons, Mike and Steve. During her working years, she was employed by AT&T.
Outside of work, her life was focused on her spiritual faith and service to others. She was heavily involved in the Unity Church, where she found immense peace and fellowship. Juanita was also deeply committed to supporting others, dedicating decades of service to the Al-Anon community, providing hope and strength to others on their paths to healing.
Juanita’s legacy lives on through her family. She shared her life with her husband, Claude, and her sons, Mike and Steve. Her family expanded across generations to include her grandchildren: Kilina, Misty, Chris, Stacey, and John. She was further blessed with 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She will be remembered for her strength, her serving heart, and the positive impact she left on the family and community she cherished.
