Larry was my boss for almost 15 years. During that time we became good friends and though he was 2 years younger than I am, he was like my big brother. He became my mentor and repeatedly signed me up for training courses meant to get me out of my comfort zone. He always had my back, even when he knew I was wrong. I learned more from him than anyone else I’ve ever worked for or with. I think of him often and it never fails to bring a smile to my face. My condolences go out to the entire family. He will be missed.

I first met Larry when I went to work as staff for Marvin Smith, Larry truly knew what was happening and how things needed to be done, Larry was an exceptional leader and it was a pleasure to know and work with him

Open Letter to a Dear Friend:
Dear Larry, The news has crushed my heart. You and I both started at the bottom and worked hard to advance. We shared adjoining offices and formed a strong friendship. Sometimes we went to lunch together and occasionally we would stop after work to have a couple of refreshments. The last several chapters of your book make me very sad because I loved you and respected you. Your story deserved a happy ending. May you find peace in your next journey. God Speed my Friend.
