

We celebrate the life of L. Joseph Tuft who passed away on February 18, 2024 at the age of 75. Joseph was born in Los Angeles, CA and lived in the Los Angeles county area most of his life.
He attended Canoga Park Senior High School and California Concordia College, Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod and received an AA Degree in Teacher Training. He worked in private security for over 30 years at Golden West Security, Pacoima, CA and Allied Universal Security, Lancaster, CA.
He is survived by his mother, Lela Esau, Magna, Utah; his wife Linda K. Tuft, Lancaster, CA; children Daniel J. Tuft, Hollywood, CA; James S. Alexander, Phoenix, AZ; and Candice A. Alexander, Sacramento, CA; siblings Elizabeth DeFonzo, Oroville, CA; Rachel Butts, Magna, Utah; Lydia Hamil, Magna, Utah; Martha Hamil Fine, Mission Hills, CA; Mark Hamil, Cherokee, Oklahoma; Grandchildren Jordan Alexander, Phoenix, AZ; Joseph Alexander, Hollywood, CA; and James S. Alexander, II, Phoenix, AZ.
A memorial service will be held on March 10, 2024 at Grace Lutheran Church, 856 W. Newgrove Street, Lancaster, CA 93534 at 1 pm followed by a light reception. In lieu of flowers, donations welcome. To RSVP and for more information email Linda Tuft at [email protected]
