Loyce Marie Hand

Loyce Marie Hand was born in Houston, TX on May 15, 1945, to the proud parents of the late Thelma Freeman and Ben Jones. She was the second of five children: Gracie Roberts, (deceased), Ben Jones Jr. (deceased), Carl Freeman (deceased), and Eula Mae Harriss (Baby Sister) reside in Los Angeles, CA.

In 1960 she resigned in Santa Monica, CA. Where she attended and graduated from Santa Monica City School District. Growing into adulthood she had three beautiful daughters: Shredda H. Blanks, Lavita D. Casper, and Portia D. Gunn. Raising three girls as a single mother had it's challenges, but the love she had was undeniable. Her passion as a mother lead her to become a Brownie Girl Scout team leader. She was loved by all who came in contact with her.

Later, she moved to Culver City, CA where she and Charles Hand met and fell in love. In 1991 he asked for her hand in marriage and the two became one. Along with Charles she was also blessed with another daughter Tiffany Marshall. In 1990 she also turned her life over to Christ and became his servant. In 1998 Loyce and the love of his life Charles moved and bought their home in Lancaster, CA.

Loyce enjoyed cooking, fishing, shopping and absolutely love the lord. Family and friends were her passion and delight. She had a special bond and relationship with each and everyone she loved, and they knew it. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother. She wanted the best for all her children. She was a classy, sassy, vibrant and inspiring lady. She leaves and everlasting impression upon all those who knew her and she'll definitely be missed.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Charles Hand, her sister Eula Mae Harriss, her four daughters, Sheredda Blanks, Lavita Casper, Portia Gunn and Tiffany Marshall. Her seven Grandchildren, Brittany Cox, Shatoia Robinson, Dontre Hardiman, Brianna Hand, Dakota Casper and Drew Casper. Her seven great-grandchildren and a host of loving relatives and friends.

She's not gone, just gone ahead.
