Mary Passed away on April 14, 2011 after year long battle with ALS disease. She leaves behind her loving grieving husband of 54 years who is totally lost without her, nieces Karen McAndrews and May Pat Thraen, and Fran and Jlo, her much loved English Bulldogs. In addition, Mary also had all of "her girls" from the classes during the many years of teaching typing, shorthand and other secretarial classes at AV High School. She was always pleased and proud when they told her stories of their success in this field. She was totally involved in preparing them for a career in this field. There will be a celebration of her life (in the style of her Irish ancestry) at her favorite outing, the Scramblez Cafe at 2715 West Avenue L (next to the Blockbuster) from 2pm until 5pm on Saturday, April 30, 2011
