

Richard Dahler, born January 18th, 1949, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, June 25th, 2024. He valiantly served his country as a Marine Corporal in vietnam War, and courageously held his ground in the Battle of Khe Sanh. He fought just as hard in his battle against Cancer. He was a longtime resident of the Antelope Valley. He worked at Lockheed Martin for almost two decades and switched career paths to the California Department of Corrections where he retired. He is survived by his wife June, his siblings Betty, Linda, and Clyde, his daughter Tammy, his granddaughter Brook, and great grandchildren, Christian, Gabriel, Amani, Evan and Drew, as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents Mary and Harold and his siblings George, Lena, Bobby, Eva, and Mary Alice. Richard was a grand storyteller, and a giving individual. He was incredibly faithful with a strong love for God and his family. He is deeply loved and sorely missed.
A visitation for Richard will be held Friday, July 12, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Joshua Memorial Park Mortuary, 808 East Lancaster Blvd, Lancaster, CA 93535. Burial will take place at Bakersfield National Cemetery on Monday, July 15, 2024 from 1:15 PM to 2:15 PM located at , 30338 E Bear Mountain Blvd, Arvin, CA 93203.
